Our step treads are manufactured from 2×12 #1 grade Southern Yellow Pine. They have a bullnose on one edge and three grooves are cut into the underside of the tread to minimize cupping. Three 1” wide slip resistant grooves are applied to the face. The treads are pressure treated with MicroPro® XPS Treated Woodpreservative for above ground use.
